Enhancements Roadmap (April 2026)
- Regional Model Expansion: Add new region-optimized AI models to improve response quality for local language usage, context, and cultural relevance while keeping privacy and on-device-first behavior aligned with Kukku Me standards.
- Food Calorie Estimator Tool: Introduce a new tool that estimates calories from user food input (text and image-assisted workflows where available). Users can attach this tool to any agent, including creating a dedicated Food Calorie Estimator agent.

Kukku 2.0 (Build 14) - Major Update
A complete redesign that turns Kukku into a daily companion, plus four new agents, per-agent Journals, and native skills — now with powerful on-device AI powered by the Gemma 4 model.
New
- Redesigned experience: refreshed UI, new animations, and emoji icons rendered with Metal shaders.
- Home Dashboard: Kukku Smart card and Reflection card, CTA agents, and horizontal rails; All Agents view with grid and card layouts.
- Four new seeded agents: Habits, Expenses, Food & Nutrition (Nutrition Analyst) and Everyday Agent.
- Journals: a per-agent feature with today, weekly and monthly views for habits, expenses, nutrition and health (analytics runs internally).
- Skills: Kukku native Habit Tracker and Expense Tracker skills, plus support for additional skills following the
skills.mdstandard (skills and tools are mutually exclusive per agent). - Camera capture: snap a receipt to log an expense, or a meal to estimate calories and macros.
- Gemma 4 model: a stronger local model option on capable devices.
- Escalation & remote models: connect an agent to a remote or OpenAI-compatible endpoint with your own API key.
- Experimental MCP tools: early Model Context Protocol support.
